Fidalga JCL

A proven broodmare whose sons, daughters and grandfoals have won 11 Model & Gaits medals since 2024.

Fidalga JCL is an approved broodmare graded 73 points, by Soberano (RR ★★★★) and granddaughter of Hostil (RM ★★★★★). She is the dam of approved broodmares Queen JCL and Siesta JCL, and of Tango JCL, and the granddam of Uva JCL and Valete JCL.

With three generations of her line now at the stud, we have decided to offer Fidalga herself to a breeder looking for a proven producer.

Bloodlines

On her sire's side, Fidalga carries the Guilherme Borba line through Soberano (RR ★★★★) and his sire Hostil (RM ★★★★★). Her dam Ninfa was bred by Coudelaria JCL, so Fidalga is a second-generation JCL mare.

Sons, Daughters
& Grandfoals

Fidalga crosses well with very different stallions: Diamante Negro do Juliana, Gingão, Ouro, Lord Plus and Escorial. Her daughter Queen JCL is already passing that quality on to the next generation.

Why Fidalga
Is Available

Fidalga has done her job at Coudelaria JCL. Her line is secured through her approved daughters Queen JCL and Siesta JCL, and through a new generation already winning medals. We chose to keep her daughters, so we can now offer the mare herself to a breeder who wants a proven producer from a known family.

Overview

A Mare Who
Breeds On

Fidalga JCL was born at Coudelaria JCL on 3 March 2010, out of our own mare Ninfa and by Soberano. She was approved as a broodmare with 73 points.

Fidalga has produced medal winners with very different stallions. Tango JCL won Gold at Ponte de Lima as a yearling and Siesta JCL won two Silver Medals as a 2-year-old. Through her daughter Queen JCL, the next generation has continued the run: Uva JCL won a medal at all five shows of her first season, and Valete JCL won two Silver Medals in 2026.

A proven producer for a breeder who wants to found or strengthen a maternal line.
